Where tradition
meets fire

Every dish at Osteria Lumina begins with a single question: what would a grandmother in the hills of Umbria recognize? We source exclusively from small farms within 200 miles, pair heirloom grains with wood-fired technique, and let time do the rest.

Our dining room seats just 42 guests — an intentional choice. We believe the best meals happen when a kitchen can give every plate its full attention.

Chef Marco Bellini

"
"I don't follow trends. I follow the harvest, the seasons, and the people who've been farming the same land for three generations."

Born in Perugia, Chef Marco trained under Gualtiero Marchesi in Milan before spending five years in the kitchens of Florence's finest trattorias. He arrived in Austin in 2019 with one goal: to bring honest, soul-driven Italian cooking to a city that was ready for it.

His menus change every eight weeks — not because trends dictate it, but because the farms do.
